Is this type of print called gingham checked? When I think of gingham checked I think of an early 90's kitchen with geese and sunflowers stenciled on the walls, but I love a large gingham check or whatever it is. I feel like it looks like a picnic blanket, and who doesn't love a picnic?
So I know this is a fashion blog, but it's also a roommate-y blog, right? Well, this isn't the most flattering picture of me, but you might want to notice my fist. It doesn't look that clenched, but it was! I had a really, really terrible experience that involved an awful human being, a lot of dishonesty, a car, and a possible loss of hundreds of dollars. It all came crashing down a few days ago and I was in ENRAGED, so mad I was sleeping with clenched fists. I was ready for a fist fight. Anyway, getting to the point, I have never been so upset in my entire life and I didn't know how to handle the rage.
Has anything like this happened to any of you, have you ever been so angry you thought you might have an early on-set heart attack? I really think I hit the pinacle of anger, and my normal go-to's like crying or running were not enough. What do you do when you're that mad? I feel like if this ever happens to me again, I need some sort of coping devices.
Maybe next time I'll go on a picnic with a gingham checked shirt, skirt, and picnic blanket. Oh and picnic shirt outfit post coming as soon as I unclench my fist.

The first time I realized that I may have a temper was in my first year of teaching elementary school. Every time the class bully would pound on someone, it would take every ounce of will power to keep myself from grabbing her (yes it was a her) by the ear and dragging her down the hall.
I remember talking to my mom about this (she's a therapist) and her telling me to control my breathing. It may sound silly, but it totally helps. She told me to inhale for 8 seconds and then hold it for 8 seconds and then exhale for 8 seconds. And then do it 8 times.
I would suggest that. Or, just buy a costco-sized bag of hot tamales. Those make every situation happy.
Ok I am so super happy that I found your blog! It's amazing!! You two are too stinking cute! New follower for sure!

Sorry. What happened? Write me an email and tell me, then I'll tell you about the maddest I've EVER been that I can remember and nothing helped except for screaming, crying, and time. I have a bad temper apparently.
