I almost never get rid of any clothing. I still own the black pants that I sat on a fruit roll up in freshman year of high school- and I still own the black shoes that got nick-named "Crisco Shoes" for wearing them down so much that I slipped everywhere I went.
The following black skirt is actually a tube- top dress that I have had since my days of, I-Only-Wear-Black.

But, when I look at it, I can't tell if it is too witch-like. Can maxi skirts be black?

black maxi skirts are my current obsession actually, and with the stripes I'd say these photos are utter perfection really.
witch is my middle name. really. ask my kids. i think this is perfect and the styling keeps it from being scary and more edgy. but if you did want to paint your nails black and write poems about death i would support that too.
i LOVE the skirt and you can never go wrong with black! wish we were closer so i could borrow it!
