So I found this skirt in the back of my storage closet and realized that I put it back there 3 years ago because I couldn't figure out what top to put with it. Well, I pulled it out today and paired it with a top that works decently, but I can't figure out anything else to pair with it. What other top could I put with this skirt? I feel fine about this shirt, but I'd like to have a few options. Also, pleats from my bellybutton to my knees is kind of a lot, so when I pair it with a print it looks a little funny.

With the yellow skirt I would wear a very tight Navy v-neck tucked in and no belt (or a red one if you insist).
I'm having mixed feelings about the white version of this skirt. I think I'd move in a nautical direction with it or super feminine and floral. I'd pair the white skirt with a pink tank top and a cute floral cardigan.
i absolutely love what you're wearing. fresh and fun. i bet one of this summer's thin, loosey-goosey tees (tucked in probably) would look great. solid or striped!

This outfit is beautiful! I love it! Those pleast are perfect! I also do little braids in my ponytails to spice them up.
I like yellow with navy, black (I know, bee), white and pale pink. If you are on pintrest, do a search on yellow and see what inspires you. That's what I did when I had a hot pink skirt that I had no idea what to do with.

I think the outfit looks great as is it. Simple and pretty. If you not comfortable then dont wear it... otherwise ROCK IT
Yellow (depending on the shade) goes great witha good red (again, depending on the shade). It might be a little bold, but yellow and red are a great pair.
I'd put a grey/white stripe shirt or white shirt with a yellow skirt but seriously I don't even know why I'm typing. I dress like I'm colour-blind. Like the pleated skirt a ton though. I'd probably wear a chambray shirt there, or mint colour with tan belt. again, why am I typing.
I love nautical striped top, blue chambray shirt or neutrals with yellow.

you should be an anthropologie model you are Adorable!!!!! and I personally love pairing yellow with black and white stripes. do you have a stripe top? really though, any pattern would go well with a yellow skirt.

With yellow, I'd go with anything really. Pink, turquoise, red, purple, green. Yellow is almost a neutral, in my opinion.

I think that skirt could be worn with virtually anything. A cute lacy vintage cami, a polka dot blouse, anything really:) I love how you wore it today!
Such cute pleats! I think the white would look great with a striped T. The butter yellow would be pretty with a lilac T and add a scarf at the neck for interest. Or a statement necklace. Can't go wrong with a statement necklace. :)

Grey looks stellar with yellow. I think that white skirt can go in so many directions...depending on the weather and your mood. i feel like a slouchy tee would be a good contrast, too, since those pleats are so crisp. shoes are critical with that skirt though..i have nothing deep in that regard, but i'm just thinking shoes are what i'd struggle with, prolly.

Can you please expand on how you have styled your hair? -- perhaps post more of an up close photo. It looks great from a distance, but I'd like to see what you have done!
Also, i'd like to hear how y'all feel about the belt and shoes -- i personally love the look, but wondered when it is appropriate to break the carnal rule of "shoes and belts must always match" I often struggle with these pairings.
