Last summer my husband and I went to an Arcade Fire concert and it was held in an amphitheater where we could sit down! It was a dream. Since we could sit down, we brought our travel sized backgammon to play while we waited. Dorky? probably. We then proceeded to get into a huge argument over the game and we got really mad at each other. I may or may not have a serious competitive side when it comes to games. We then swore off backgammon because nothing good ever comes from it.
Why do I tell you this? Well, that was the first night I wore this dress, and that's what I think of every time I put it on. I think of that, and I'm always debating which shoe/belt combo to wear.
Should I go with the white combo?

I think both belt/shoe combos look good, but my favorite is the brown. They help the vintage dress stand out without looking too literally 80s.
One of my favorite games is Apples to Apples. You need a big crowd to play it, but it's a great "get to know your friends better" game!

hahaha this made me laugh so hard! because it sounds exactly like me and my hubby. we are not allowed to play certain card games because we always end up in a fight. but Uno is a card game that we love to play all the time!!
I love a good old game of Monopoly, Boggle, Ker-plunk, Trivia Pursuit (or 'Trivial Dispute' as my family always used to call it)
I'd go with the white option, it really 'pops' the colour of your dress, love it

The white pops but the brown makes your legs look longer...I prefer the brown, but this time of year you could do almost any color with that dress and it would be cute!

hahah trivial "dispute" i love that. I also think the "white in the summer, brown in the fall" might be the solution. and I'm glad people like both because I've worn both so it'd be a little embarrassing if everyone said, "_____ LOOKS AWFUL". although, if you feel that way, please do say.
i vote white... it stands out more! and i love games! my favorites are group trivia type games like scene it or apples to apples is a fave too :)

My vote is for brown! Gives it a more consistent, vintagey look and makes your legs look longer since they are skin toned!

I like both colors, but the white pops the color of the dress. I would try leopard print, red, or fushscia too.
And my hubby and I love scrabble! We also like to play Phase 10 (a card game).

I like both, I think the white accessories pop a little more, but I like the neutral as well.

I am a big game player. I love Scattegories, Apples to Apples and Catch Phrase. But my favorite is Scrabble. In fact, my husband proposed to me over a game of Scrabble (after I beat him by 150 points - now that's love!)
As for the outfit, I really like the tan combo better, but I have no reason other then a natural inclination. Both look great and the dress is fabulous!
I LOVE Catch Phrase! It's really fun in a big group. Scattergories is fun too! People come up with the most creative things, hehe. :)

I like the brown. But I'm really commenting about the games. I too am a game lover. It must be in our blood because I totally get it from my dad. Anyways, we love all the ones you listed. Some of our other favorites are Bohnanza, Bang, Catan, and Skip-bo and this card game Nate taught me called Idiot.
Ahhhhh! I like 'em both! I can't decide!!! Brown? No... WHITE! I think I like the white better! Okay, yeah white! And I LOVE games too! Settlers of Catan is my FAVORITE. I also like Phase Ten! =)
I'm not a huge fan of white, so the brown looks a bit better to my eye. However, I'd probably throw on a long scarf in blues and greens and add lime green sandals. Or maybe pewter wedge sandals . . .

I like the brown the best, it compliments the teal really well. Also, Settlers of Catan is where it's at! Hands down, the best game I've ever played...well besides Catch Phrase.
