Monica and I both take our TJ Maxx Bucks pretty seriously. I had only $10 of TJ Maxx bucks to spend and I bought this little number. I've seen these asymmetrical shirts around, and although I realize it isn't an outrages style or anything, I can't decide if I should keep it or put the $10 towards something I REALLY want.

Do you still like the layered top look? Would you keep this shirt? I haven't decided yet, and I haven't worn it besides these pictures, so I feel like I could still take it back. Should I take it back?
p.s. Remember this conundrum? Well, it didn't take 6 months for me to sew, it only took like 2 hours, stay tuned for pics!

I think it looks great layered...
I would keep it!
Keep it! Its a great shirt
love the pattern and the vibe
i used to layer shirts all the time, but like you have laid low with it for a while
i am sure i will go back to it eventually

I used to layer Tee's but more during the winter for a more cozy comfy factor. For this summery T-shirt I think you should try it alone. Great pattern.

The pattern is super cool. I think the shirt would look great with or without the layering. I just don't layer in the summer because it's too darn hot! Your shoes are super cute too!

You've got yourself a new roomie! I love the patterned shirt. Very cool. As for layering, eh, I only do it in the winter. I can't even imagine doing it in 90 degree weather.
I like the look! And that shirt, a lot!
I'm so excited to be your new roomie, yay!
I don't mind the look at all, as long as you are not too hot. But the solid plays well of the print.
Cute shirt. But if you're still debating it, take it back. If you can live without it, you probably will forget to wear it anyway.
i love that shirt. it's super adorbs and it looks great on you. i know what you mean about layering. i've been looking for shirts lately that are stand-alones. but i think for this look it's totally fine.
i did cut the bottom off a couple of my tanks the other day a la halftees.com. sometimes i need a little bit of coverage up top but i get sick of having on more layers than i really need.
I really like the shirt... I say keep it. But I know how you feel. I have been the same way. Used to HAVE to wear an under shirt, now I do all I can to avoid it. :P
We love this top, and love the layering. It would look great without the t shirt underneath as well. Looks like I'm going to need to take a trip to Tj Maxx...

KEEEEEP!! I love the pattern and it looks great layered. And if you get tired of layering it or the asymmetrical cut, you could always tuck it into something high-waisted.
Adorbs!

I'll be the naysayer-- I'm not wild about it. I feel like we kind of lose your shape in it, but that might just be the photo. I do think it'd look nice blousoned out of something high-waisted, though, and I love the color and print on you.
I love the layered look. Looks great!
I love the layered look. However, I'm not a fan of this shirt. I vote for taking it back, but otherwise everything else looks fabulous!
I like the shirt and I LOVE layering (although it is comfier to just wear one)

I like the layered look! although I'm with you, I try to cut out as many layers on the top as possible, especially in summer! I do like the top, but I'm bettin they might have something you LOVE soon. I would take it back and hold off :) but you really can't go wrong! it is still really cute!
Love that shirt! I'm a huge fan of the layered look and I almost always have a white tank on under everything I wear.
keep it is a nice shirt if you dont like layered wear it alone. Can't wait to see you new dress.
That shirt looks awful! You should send it to your sister in Pismo Beach.
I love that shirt and it looks great on you!
I dont really like the shirt. i feel like you can pull it off because your cute. but other than that i'm a polite - no. and you like a shirt the best in the store....if you're not totally in love with it buy something else.
I think the shirt looks good on you and I still like the layered look, myself. I usually do tanks and cardigans.
I followed you here from WIWW!

I really like the shirt! I used to layer all the time, I mean all the time! Now It feels so uncomfortable!
I like this shirt! I think the print makes it way cooler then your average t-shirt. I can't wait to see the dress you made!

i like the shirt. it's got a great print. and i do like to layer shirts. i think it always looks good. i just did it the other day, mostly because i noticed my bra would show when i leaned forward. i gotta say it kinda looked cute to have a colorful tank underneath and a more neutral colored shirt on top!
