1-2-3 Eyes on Me

THIS IS YOUR LAST CHANCE TO ENTER THE GIVEAWAY! Normally I don't virtually shout at you, but that deserved all caps. The winner will be announced Monday.

Bret took my picture from far away and we couldn't believe how much it looked like I was in some type of jungle. Unfortunately, I am not in a jungle but rather in front of an apartment complex. It's also unfortunate that I was doing that particular move when he took the picture.

GUYS. The school children are about to descend upon my classroom and instead of lesson planning right now, I'm thinking "I wonder what I should wear on the first day of school?". So, this is what I have decided upon. I feel like it's relaxed but also semi-professional.
How do we feel about the green shoes and red necklace? I feel like those things normally don't go together but I feel like it might work?

I realize this is kind of a boring outfit, so is there anything you would change? Add? Those pants are navy although they look black in these pictures. (or maybe they really are black and maybe I really am in the jungle).

i like the red+lime green! the shirt is kind of billowy...i'd either tuck it in, or belt it.

Love the green & red accents, but I agree... I think you should belt the shirt! Then is would be PERFECT! :)

Oh my gosh! The "jungle" picture is hilarious! I like this look, but if you are going for more of a professional look, I would either tuck it in or belt it. But that's just me since I seem to belt just about everything!

Personally I would belt the shirt, but I'm the same way. I'd much rather be comfortable on the first day of classes above all else. The red and green? Totally work!

i think its a great first day outfit as well! it looks comfy, but appropriate. if you want to jazz it up i would try a skinny belt, or a bigger, more chunky necklace. turquoise would also look great.

I love your shoes and necklace, but I definitely think you should tuck in the shirt :)

I love the colors but I agree that it needs a belt. Your waist is so tiny, flaunt it, flaunt it:)

LOVE the green shoes! How unexpected and fun. And I'm all for tucking in/belting, but I don't know how much movement that would allow you.

I wouldn't change a thing. Red and with lime green is refreshing. You look at ease and ready to take on the kiddos! Sometimes tucking a shirt can be restrictive, especially if it's a crisp shirt. I often leave my tops untucked or half tucked, when I gotta run after my two year old munster.

green and red go together. They're compliments...however it sometimes reminds us of Christmas (not your combo though). I think you're missing a pattern with your outfit. However, how to add some? not sure.
