Four Dollar Celebration

On Friday I finished my week of finals, and boy, did it feel good.  Even though I have another semester starting here in a couple weeks, there is something so exciting about finishing one more semester.  Do you want to know how I celebrated?  Project Runway! (and a visit to TJ Maxx, of course)
Did you guys know a new season started?  Have you guys been watching?

Anyways, back to me...and my four dollar celebration.

Remember when I asked if I can own two almost identical shirts? Well, sometimes I ask my roommates the same question over and over again.
I already have a chambray shirt, but when I saw this bad boy at TJ Maxx for 4 dollars, I impulsively walked up to the cash register and bought it.  I told myself that I deserved a 4 dollar surprise.  And, I tried to make myself feel better by saying that the two chambray items are so different... but I'm not so sure about that.
(Don't mind my cattywampus necklace.  I didn't realize my sweaty neck could actually glue my necklace to my body in such an odd fashion)
Shirt: TJ Maxx Necklace: antique store in New Zealand
 Jeans: TJ Maxx Shoes: Target

Is it dumb to have two chambray shirts in your closet?

Nope, that way you have back up if something happens to one of them!

not dumb at all...but maybe that one could use a belt?

not necessarily dumb, but this one doesn't seem to fit that well. i bet you'd end up defaulting to the lighter one most days.

Not at all. It's always good to have multiples of things that work. And for $4? That's cheaper than coffee!

Coming from the girl whose husband just accidentally washed her chambray shirt with bleach, its brilliant to have two in your closet.

Love the shirt and especially with the necklace! I actually don't even have one chambray shirt so you are just making up for what I'm lacking. :) And I'm super excited about Project Runway - the first episode was promising!

I mean...for 4 dollars, there's no point in returning it so...rock both shirts girl!

KEEP IT! You can't go wrong for $4 dollars. AND, you're right, they are soooo different. One had white-ish buttons and longer sleeves, the other had black buttons and shorter sleeves. Keep! And there you go again, wearing those shoes I love!

Nothing wrong with two chambray shirts. They can be worn in so many ways and with so many things...
And I love that necklace, even if it's a little "sticky." :)

No way, girl. One is long-sleeved and the other is short-sleeved. And the blues seem different, in the pics at least. And for $4? No brainer.

I'm more impressed by the fact that you spent, grand total, 13 bucks on the two of them. They're not that different, but you could probably turn one of them into a shirt/skirt dress if you're feeling crafty or embellish it somehow. And, hey, if it's dumb, you can certainly mail me one of them :)

Nothing is wrong when it's $4!!! You look cute!

For $4, you can have as many chambray shirts as you want. I bought a $4 shirt last week, pretty much only because it cost $4. And this shirt is very cute. I say keep!

I don't even own one so I think two would be terrific!

BTW: LOVE Project Runway and I started watching it last week as well. I even watched season 8 all over again last week on Hulu in anticipation:)

Chambray and denim are staples--you can't have too many. I don't think you need to always wear a belt, either. It's refreshing! Love the necklace and your hair looks fab.

Oh how I LOVE my chambray and denim pieces. I love having two of my favorite pieces. You always have a back up! xoxox

It's a great shirt and works great for summer but will also be a great layering piece this winter...so it was a great find!

Hmmmm..it really depends on the style of each shirt. If they have one thing that makes them different it should be enough to justify the purchase. So I say it's all GOOD!! Love your necklace! :)
