hey there roomies,
I need some advice on a very interesting piece I
bought from the markets recently. For any of you who read my blog,
you will know I am going to India next week for 4 months.
So
I found this skirt-looking-thing at the markets and discovered, it's an
item you can wear over 30 different ways. I know right! One piece for
30 different outfits!!
Of course it was slightly too good to be true.
Most of the styles are quite similar and others are simply horrible
looking. But I bought it anyway because I LOVE it as a skirt with a
plain top (like in the picture) and it's perfect for India being light
and flowing. There were a few styles that I didn't mind though and I'd
love to know what you think. So which options do you think work best?

other way than a skirt?!

I think option C is the best and most flattering, but I still think the skirt option is way better.

Great buy honey, and it should look good straight from your back pack. I love all the looks but D the least. Have a great trip and save room in your pack for all those great cotton pieces that they do so well an so cheaply. Lovely to meet you. ax

I love it as option A but all of them are great! And no, you aren't crazy for trying to wear as something else other than a skirt.

i love a and c....and possibly b with a skinny belt could be cute...but you'll have to try it out first. love it as a skirt too- i would do d like a swimsuit cover-up. what a great find!
i like the skirt option the best but c & d are my other 2 favorites. if you had a skinny belt option B would be cute too!

I love all but option C. ONLY because I would feel as if I were choking all day long. haha! But it's still cute. :) I think they all work! Especially if you threw a denim jacket/ chambray top over it. AND it can be a skirt. That thing is awesome. :)
i LOVE the piece! it looks great as a skirt and then in order i think A looks best, then B, then C and then i'm not really a fan of D. but seriously, that's so many ways to wear one garment, awesome! and have a great time in india!!
Nice!! I love it as a skirt with the plain white tank and as that tube dress. I'm kind of partial to tube dresses. :P

You are not crazy at all! That thing is cute. You could wear it once a week as a "different" dress and once every other week as a top and the other week as a skirt and no one will even know! So fun!

Option A is great! I'm not crazy about the other options (aside from being used as a skirt). Don't worry, you'll be able to pick up plenty of cheap and versatile things to wear on the road.
