READER SUBMISSION

Our reader submission this week comes from Stephanie. When she emailed us, I opened her email and then laughed out loud because the wording of her question (you'll see what I mean). I think Stephanie and I have one thing in common, she said she tends to go on the safer side of fashion and I think I, too, fall under that category. One thing Stephanie definitely has going on is the world's cutest smile. Here's Stephanie:

I tend to put outfits together that are "safe" and not too creative. However, today I was just out and about and decided to try something a little different! I LOVE wearing headbands and hair flowers; however, this is the first time that I tried it "Rambo" style, as I like to call it. I see other girls wear it, but wasn't sure if I can pull it off with my poofy hair! Ah! I need help!

I guess I just don't know when and with what it is appropriate to wear them "rambo" style?! And that's what I need opinions on.

P.S. The "rambo" thing came from a lady who wore her headband this way. I told her it was so cute and she said her co-workers kept calling her Rambo. I guess it just stuck with me! :)

I think it looks great! I have very straight, thin hair with blunt bangs... so I have no idea how to pull off the "rambo" style! haha!

You don't look Rambo-ish at all! Mr Stallone does not look half as cute as you do ^^ I have straight and smooth hair, so headbands won't stay in place! it looks gorgeous with your more curly hair! I'd wear headbands with pretty dresses to a picnik, a bikeride, citytrip, walk on the beach or a visit to the theathre ^^ x

It looks great! My personal opinion is that it looks great with what you call "poofy" hair. I love wearing my headbands like that!

So cute! And I don't think her hair looks poufy at all.

While this style looks incredible on Steph and Nicole Richie, I don't know that I could ever try this! Maybe I should though... ;)

It looks totally cute. Just rock it like you own it and no one will need to question it. :)

I've always had the same issue. They personally make me nervous, but if you like it, rock it!

I think your beautiful, thick curls are exactly what pulls this off. Such a cute, quirky hairpiece and I think it totally works!

It is very cute, but I would wear it to 'go out', so to speak - like evening style. Not so much for daytime.

i think it's wayyy cute and looks great with your hair! i say wear it with more casual outfits, like running errands or going out on the weekend. i wouldn't wear it to work (if you work in an office or a professional setting). but it's definitely cute!

Well, I love Rambo :) And I think it's really cute!!! And I guess its because I am a little bias ;) I love wearing things around my forehead! I make little headpieces, so I think its adorable and chic!! I would wear it on the weekends and going out! It takes confidence to wear and you look great!!! Do it!
