Scarf season is coming and while I feel like most people feel happy about Fall, I am not one of them. I want endless summer and I guess that is why I pay crazy rent to live in the Bay Area. Contrary to popular belief though it does get cold here (like 50!) so I have to pull out a scarf every once in awhile. But I can't tell if this scarf is too bulky. (It doesn't look too bulky in this pic, but keep scrolling).
You can tell a little bit more how bulky it is in this picture below, and you can just ignore my robotic poses (however if we ever meet, I'm more than happy to share my robot dancing skillz with you, I practice at least 10 minutes a day while dancing with my Kindergartners). But try not to be too distracted, focus on the scarf around my neck. Too bulky??

is it weird that I think it's scarf season year round and just rock a scarf no matter the temp? haha....eventually I do look ridiculous if it's hot out...so I have to remove the scarf, but I start out with a scarf hahaha
you look cute!!!

It looks fine, I know what you mean though. I have a pashmina I use as a scarf and I tend to wear it differently to avoid the bulky feeling. I wrap around my neck instead of knot it xoxo

Scarves are great! This doesn't look to bulky at all. You Tube has tons of tutorials on tying scarves of all sizes.
I think it looks cute. I can see what you mean by bulky though. I can't do scarves because while I love how they look on others (and I do think yours looks great), on me I always have an issue I can't let go of. So the real question is, is the bulky feel going to bug you all day?
very very cute! i love the scarf!! if the bulkiness bugs then maybe try tying it a different way. i got this link off of pinterest!

I agree with Melissa. There are hundreds of ways to tie scarves, so just try one that is less bulky like just wrapping it loosely around your neck.
It looks fine, Whitney! Pretty colors. Here's a "6 Ways to Tie a Scarf" thingy.

I don't think it's too bulky. I have seen several "how-to's" on pinterest.com and then tip junkie has some good ones too. That's if you wanted to switch it up a bit, like I am going to this fall season! :)
I love the colors of the scarf. Maybe wear it looser, so its not so close to your neck? Or drape it a different way.

I love this scarf you have on, and no, it doesn't look bulky at all :) by the way, I liked that robotic pose haha.
Happy weekend!

I love scarves!! I think this one looks great :) I am envious of your awesome robotic dance moves! Erin over at Pretty, Polished, Perfect just posted a great video of scarf tutorials - here's the link http://prettypolishedperfect.blogspot.com/2011/09/scarf-tying-tutorial.html
That scarf is absolutely perfect, and not too bulky at all. There ARE other ways to wear a scarf though if it *feels* too bulky for you. There are eight gorgeous ways here: http://collegecandy.com/2009/05/10/8-ways-to-wear-spring-scarves/
Definitely not too bulky. I love the colors in your scarf!
I love the scarf!!
I think it looks adorable but I totally know what you mean...I wore a scarf this past week and felt like I had a small child wrapped around my neck. ;)
