And if you're thinking...Well, I don't know....but it would help if I saw a running picture in the outfit before I make up my mind. Don't worry, I've got that covered.
And maybe now you're thinking...Well, I'd have a better idea if I could see the outfit suspended in the air.. Don't worry, I've got that covered, too.

Okay, but really. Do you guys ever treat your cardigans like they're shirts?
Can you tuck in a cardigan?

Do you not own a different pair of jeans?
I think you've proven that YES! You can! You look absolutely wonderful - this print is YOU! :)

you know, I kind of like it ;)
I like it, but I think it needs a different belt.
I've tucked my cardigans into pants/skirts before. Sometimes there's a detail (or a belt, or something!) on the bottom half that would be a shame to cover up, hence the tuck.
Cute outfit!
HAH! Love this post! But yes, I think you can totally pull it off. The worst is when half becomes un-tucked, but as long as that's covered, I think you're good to go!
I'd never really thought of tucking in a cardigan, but I think it looks great! Love this post, you are a pro at jumping pictures :)
I have never tucked a cardigan but after this shoot I would say that 'Yes, yes you can'. Love the bold pattern it really looks great on you.
You look fabulous, Monica! I think someone earlier commented about using a different belt, but I personally love the belt with this outfit!

I've never tried tucking in my cardigan, but seeing it on you, makes me rethink the whole thing. I'll give it a try one day :)

Monica - i love the outfit. tuck away!
You crack me up! I love it actually! I think you can def pull it off. Add a belt and you're all set!
I think if you wear it buttoned like this you can treat it like any other sweater.

haha loved the last two pictures! I'd say not just any average joe can do it, but you definitely pull it off! You've got the body for it! Although I do have to say that my 9 month pregnant body is currently very jealous of the fact that you can even BUTTON your cardigan haha.HA.
Hahaha...too funny! Never thought of doing that...looks great, thanks for the inspiration :)

yes! I love it
But of course! Cardi tucking is great fun!
You have proven that you can tuck in your cardigan. It looks great! I swear I thought you were just wearing socks, but you listed shoes. Just a weird observation.
i think it looks cute! and i'm scratching my head trying to figure out how you did that last picture. every time i try to do a jumping picture, it looks strange and i'm only about an inch off the ground. very impressed.
I think you look cute, so the answer must be yes.
TUCK AWAY!! This is an adorable post featuring an adorable cardi. XO

I don't like it... I LOVE it! If this were America's Got Talent You'd get a big. fat. YES. from me ^^ x
I absolutely ADORE it! I think it works especially good because the cardigan has a pattern but even a plain cardigan with a cute belt and some colorful jewelry would look super cute. And don't you just LOVE Emma Pillsbury's style?! I do!! :] xoxo, Emma {From Race&Emma and Thrifty Modest Threads}
I actually think it looks really cute and I love the pattern of this cardi - it works perfectly for tucking. Are you just wearing socks in the running and jumping pics?
hahahah I love the anonymous first comment, I laughed so hard, it sounded like Mean Girls, except they were serious. I think this works, and I think you look hot in those jeans and should never take htem off.
I am in envey over that cardi!
I think you totally pulled this off
I think it depends on how thick the cardi is on whether or not it is tuckable
who wants to add bulk to the waist tucking in a thick cardi???
but, seriously... i want your cardi, NOW

I think cardigans are pretty much sweaters but with buttons, so ideally you should be able to treat them the same way. But I've only done this twice. I did work out but I haven't tried it more often. I do love the pattern on your cardi!
you are super silly! and i totally dig it! i would not have thought to tuck one in. it looks great but i still prefer cardigans untucked:)
Ohmygoodness, you are adorable! Honestly, I didn't even realize your shirt was a cardigan. I say go for it! And, as a matter of fact, I believe that I have worn a card as a shirt. Why the heck not?!
Loves it! :)
I *love* the last picture - so fun! Plus, you can jump really high!
it's totally fabulous! LOVE!

Oh, absolutely. You can tuck in anything. Love it. That jumping picture is awesome, also!
Abso-friggin-lutely.
I'd never thought about tucking a cardigan in but I love the way that you've done it :)
I think it depends on two things:
1. the size of your chest and
2. where your pants hit your waist.
Bigger chest can get away with it with a lower waistline and smaller chest and pretty much wear anything! And since you're perfectly proportioned.... you look great! Those are just my thoughts. Not actual rules. And you never know unless you try it!
I love that sweater & jeans!!!!
Love that sweater! Great outfit!
I love your sweater and I think yes, tuck that baby in! The jumping shot is awesome. I had one of those in my WIWW post too. Love your blog. :)
LOVE this. And I haven't see that cardi at my Target so if you could go ahead and mail me that whole outfit that would be great, thanks :)
Super cute! I wish I coudl jump like that.
OK, I am a Target cardi aholic and have not seen that beauty.
First, thanks for your comment! Second, this outfit is adorable! And that scenery behind you - gorgeous!!
