Man, thanks so much for your help with my family photo dilemma. I made my husband go outside 4 separate times to take those photos (isn't he the best?) and I'm so glad I did! It seems as though one outfit came out on top....Do you care to know which one it was?
Ok. So now that I have a pretty good idea of what I'll be wearing for the family photo...let's move on to another question.
The Thick Sweater: Which Belt or No Belt
Sweater: JcPenney Shirt: Shade Pants: TJ Maxx
Shoes: TJ Maxx All belts: Thrift Store
I bought this sweater because it's so warm, thick, and toasty. But, I dislike this sweater for the same reasons-- I look warm, THICK, and toasty. The sweater came with a belt. I figured that the belt would give it some shape...but I'm not so sure. I can't tell if the belt just ends up making me look more..........thick.
Which look is best for this thick sweater? No belt, brown belt, or black belt?

Shoot! I love it both ways...this is a tough one. The belt does give some shape...but I think it looks more comfy without. Either way, you look fabulous in it...so you can't go wrong :)

the first belt!! the black belt gets lost in the sweater and without a belt it looks comfy, but less pulled together.
The belt is cute, but what about a red belt? It looks good unbelted though too.
BELT! The first one is much better, second one gets lost in the sweater.
I would go for belt and I would say the brown one looks better :)

no belt or black belt. I think the brown accentuates your hips and ends up making you look thicker while the black pulls your waist in. Love the sweater though!

My vote is the brown belt for a more pulled together look and no belt if you're just going for a super comfy day! :]
I think the best in most cases does give you a more defined figure but not really in this case. They're both cute though!
no belt - it actually makes you look smaller that way, because even though the belt makes it tighter, the sweater is thick and adds a good couple of inches. When the belt is off, the sweater isn't pulled as close to your body, and it's more obvious that it's the sweater that's thick and not you.
I'd say with this specific sweater, no belt. It's a pretty busy print, so with the belt I feel like you get a little lost behind the big sweater AND the belt. It looks super cute and still cozy without. :)
I don't like either belt on top of the sweater, but what about a belt over your shirt, but under the sweater? Does that even make sense? I think it would be cozy yet accentuate your tiny waist.

LOVE the sweater, and I think either (or all 3) way! I like the first belt best, but the second is cute too and not as noticeable. But it's cute and casual without a belt too. :)
no belt. but if you end up wearing a belt i vote for the white and brown one.

I am not really a belt person at all, but I enjoy it on other people. I actually like option 3 the most because the belt is not that prominent, since I am not that much of a belt person that would be my first pick. Second pick... no belt!

Theres too much darkness going on with the whole outfit. Definitely no belt. Even though you are a perfect figure, it makes you look bigger.
how do you get your hair in that nice full bun? even though i have longer hair, my buns never come out very full.
I actually think no belt for this one. I am usually a belt-it-out girl but this time I think it looks better without ....
The light colored belt isn't doing anything for your shape. Dark belt or no belt is my vote.
