I went to Target this weekend in search of cheap/plain booties that I could cover in glitter for a friend's bachelorette party (okay and for the launch of the Jason Wu for Target line). I found the perfect pair for maximum glitter coverage and happily brought them home. The problem is, I kind of fell in love with their simplicity. Now I'm not sure I want to do anything to them at all!
Are these the keepers that I hope they are, or are they as awkward as I fear, destined to be covered inexpertly in glitter for one or two nights of glamor?
What is your guys' vote? Glitter them? Or keep them simple?

Cute! I'm actually kind of tempted to go try those on now - sometimes it's hard to find cute shoes that can be worn with thick socks in the winter... but these could with some wide leg jeans, or would be cute with tights, or even look fun with cuffed jeans, after seeing your photos!
they're cute! i love the simplicity... but i also love glitter. so what would i do? go buy another pair... and glitter up one and keep one simple... problem solved :)

Plus I think you'd get more usuage out of them when they are left like this rather than when they are covered in glitter.
I love wedge booties!! I vote keep them as they are. And if they were cheap which they probably were get a second pair and work your glitter magic!
I have these, and I wear them all the time. The color goes with pretty much everything. I would say let them be, and get an uglier (cheaper) pair to cover with glitter.

Such a hard one! I say keep them as they are. I like them :) So cute.
