When I read that comment, I immediately thought back to a time when I was teaching third grade and one of my little kids came in and asked, "Heyyyyy.....wait a minute....didn't you wear that yesterday?"
The answer to these questions is "No, I don't have any other jeans" and "Yes, I wore this yesterday."
We never minded when people pointed out the negative or unflattering things because that is what roommates do. But, this blog was never intended to show you how many pairs of jeans we have, or how stylish we are(n't), or how great we look in staged photos (like the one below).
Whitney and I started this blog because we missed the good ol' days when we could sit around and talk to our roommates about stuff. Mainly we missed being able to walk out of our room and say, "Hey, does this belt look okay with this outfit?" So, we devoted this blog to answering all those silly questions that we had pent up for a few years.
The bad news is- we're all out of clothes. You have seen our entire wardrobe. You guys have seen my only pair of jeans approximately 52 times and I don't think I have any other questions about them.....for the moment.
The good news is- we still have tons of stuff we want to talk to our roommates about that will occasionally involve style questions.
The other good news is- we still want to answer all of your questions with our Reader Submission feature.
So, our dearest surrogate roommates....we hope you'll stick around to continue to answer our super important style questions and some other life-related questions we've been burning to ask.

you guys are the best and so cute! I only have one pair of jeans and they are saggy-butt mom jeans because I can't afford anything else. I'm amazed that you've come up with so many questions with just your wardrobe as it is! thanks for letting me live vicariously through your fashion friendly world. it's been fun to wonder what trends I'd sport if we has any spare change. I have one pair of jeans that I wear every weekend...I can't wear jeans to work and I find my work clothes (mostly skirts and dresses) work just fine for most post-work social activities. Shrug. Who cares. Besides, those jeans of yours are rockin'.

haha I have two pairs of the same exact jeans and those are the only ones that I wear because they are the only ones that fit me right now. I totally don't think there is anything wrong with that, I mean some people don't ever wash their jeans to protect the integrity of the denim...
P.S. I love Sarah's comment and totally agree, people with that many pairs of jeans should spend more time changing their pants and less time telling everyone else they need more pants...haha
i love ask the duplex and the concept behind it... i miss having female roomies, too. my husband just doesn't cut it with the fashion advice ;)

I wear the same jeans all of the time... seriously? Who cares? The same pair of jeans can be worn with soooooooo many different tops/accessories, it's like having an unlimited supply of jeans. Duh.
