READER SUBMISSION

We're so happy to have Moriah here from Addicted to Friendship.  She is a fashion student living in California and blogs with her best friend even though they are hundreds of miles apart (hmm, sounds like we have something in common). Moriah has great style and we're glad she's sharing it with the Duplex. Here is Moriah:

Greeting Duplex Readers!

My name is Moriah and I blog with my best friend Logan about friendship, music, our humor, and a touch of fashion at Addicted to Friendship.
I got this floral maxi dress and was hoping to wear it to church.
I'm not sure if it is too fancy though, so I paired sandals and a cardigan with it.

I love the flowiness of this but I don't know if it is too much.
What are your thoughts?
Should I wear it to church or for a special occasion?
Thanks so much roommates!

It's not too much at all! Maybe you should shorten it to where the first layer stops. that would be so adorable!

I say tie a chambray top over it and take off the belt! very pretty dress!

I think a brown belt or a black belt would look better than the leopard print belt.

Other than that, I think I like it!

(you could even take off the sweater)

I also agree with the first two comments.

I think that church is a good excuse to dress up.

I don't think it is too fancy but the leopard belt does not go, at all. It just makes it look too overdone and busy. I would say go with a cute brown or tan belt, some wedges and maybe throw your hair up in a casual bun or side knot. Cute colours though ....

You're gorgeous! And i love the belt. And the dress is fabulous.

oh I think its such a pretty dress and not too dressy at all. I would pair it with some different accessories, just because its such a busy dress you want something not so busy on top :)

not too dressy at all. i'd do a tan belt and tan shoes though, black doesnt go, nor does the leopard. wedges would be great!

I don't think it's too dressy at all! I do agree with some of the other commenters that a brown or black belt might look better. But the leopard print is fun as well! :]

Why was my comment deleted? I was being honest. The dress does make her look old. It would look a lot better if it was shorten. Isn't this site about honesty? I don't sugar coat anything, but if this site is all about sugar coating then it isn't people's real opionions.

I'm not digging the black sandals - if you're wearing this for church I'd pair it with nude heels. If you're dressing it down - go for a brown flat/sandal & nix the leopard belt. Dress is cute though (although I agree you could shorten to make it cute for spring/summer).

If you want to do a cardigan with it you need a much more fitted one than the one you currently have on. I also agree that a solid colored belt would be better and taking it up to the first layer would improve the look
