My question today is about a maxi skirt I got in the mail this week. It is my first (post-1997) maxi. I am admittedly a little slow to warm to certain trends, and this was one of them. So it didn't exactly inspire confidence in my already-lukewarm feelings about this skirt when I tried it on and my husband laughed at me and said I looked like I was on my way to a drum circle at the hippie commune.

So...too tribal? Too hideous? Should I stay away from maxis? Or just this maxi? Help a hippie sister out.

I like it, it's a great color & the print isn't too wild. I've recently jumped on the maxi train too - best idea ever. I never want to wear pants again!

I love it on you! I think if you added a fun neon skinny belt would be super cute. And I agree it does look a tad too long, so wedges would be awesome with it.
